Japan is now home to people from 195 countries and regions around the world. If you take a quick look around the city these days, you’ll notice that there are restaurants from all over the world. However, most Japanese people probably don’t know why the people who cook at the restaurant “Why did you come to Japan?” This program is a close-up of such a “cook who came to Japan from the world”. We get close to the extraordinary resolve and strong feelings of the chefs who left their hometowns to serve their own country’s cuisine in foreign lands, and the ups and downs of their lives!

Tokyo Pasta Masterclas

A pasta master class was held in Daikanyama, Tokyo. It was jointly organized by “Pastificio Granoro” and “I love Italian Food” to introduce the world of pasta to professionals, importers and distributors. I was invited as a lecturer there and introduced the characteristics of pasta and dishes using tomatoes and olive oil.
