Please note that à la carte and other courses are not available during dinner time during this period.

ABOUT PANDORO

Pandoro (Italy: Pandoro) is a famous confectionery from Verona, Italy. Along with Panettone, it is one of the Christmas-specific sweets and is often sprinkled with vanilla-scented powdered sugar.

According to one theory, the history of Pandoro has its origins in ancient Rome. At that time, the finest flour, which was a mixture of eggs, butter, olive oil, and various types of wheat, was used as the ingredient. The modern Pandoro recipe is derived from the “pane de oro” (meaning golden bread) issued at the court of the Venetian aristocrats in the 13th century. In the Middle Ages, sweet bread was specially delivered to aristocrats. With plenty of honey in eggs, butter and sugar, this bread was handy in the royal palace and was recognized as king’s bread or golden bread.
